🎃 Halloween 2025 in Wembley Park 🐾

A Spooktacular Morning for Dogs and Their Humans!

On the morning of 26th October, Wembley Park was filled with excitement, wagging tails, and plenty of Halloween spirit as dogs and their pawrents gathered to celebrate our annual Howl-O-Ween event. Organised by Viktoria, our community leader and canine behaviour expert from Victoria Dog Obedience Training, the event brought together local dog lovers for a fun, free morning of games, laughter, and community bonding.

A total of 17 dogs and their owners joined in — each showing off their most creative and spooky costumes! 👻

The event kicked off with a Trick-for-a-Treat Challenge, where dogs impressed the crowd with their best tricks. The audience voted Izzy, a beautiful German Shepherd x Canadian Eskimo Dog, as the star performer of the day.

Next came the Wicked Recall Challenge, where pups raced back to their owners through the autumn leaves. Luka, the speedy Shetland Sheepdog, claimed first place with an impressive dash and perfect recall! 🏆

The highlight of the morning was, of course, the Best Costume Contest, where the creativity of our community truly shone:

🥇 1st Place: Shelby, the Spaniel x Beagle — dressed as a cowboy 🤠

🥈 2nd Place: Luka, the Sheltie — rocking a hilarious Mr. Carrot outfit 🥕

🥉 3rd Place: Suki, the Pembroke Corgi — the most charming gentleman in town 🎩

Between the contests, dogs enjoyed a special treat station filled with snacks and free samples, while their humans indulged in spooky cupcakes, finger foods, and drinks.

The event was filled with smiles, laughter, and a strong sense of togetherness. It wasn’t just about the costumes or prizes — it was about celebrating our dogs, sharing stories, and strengthening the bond within the Wembley dog community. 🐶💛
